Retreat Policies

• You may request a courtesy hold in order to firm up your retreat plans. If another party inquires about the same time frame that we are holding for you, you will be contacted immediately. You will then have the option to secure your reservation with a $300 deposit, received by check or cash within 7 days of the notification, or you may give up your time frame to the other interested party.
• We require a $300 deposit to secure your reservation. Deposits should be received, by check or cash, within 7 days of making your reservation. Deposits will be fully refunded if cancelled within 90 days of arrival, or you may change your reservation to another time frame. If your cancellation is less than 90 days and more than 30 days prior to arrival, we will refund the full amount of your deposit if your time frame can be re-booked by another party or you may transfer your deposit to another time frame. Deposits for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to possible forfeiture, at the discretion of Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast owners, unless your time frame can be re-booked by another party.
• We at Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast are concerned for your safety. Cancellations made at the last minute because of weather related conditions may be applied to a future retreat or may be fully refunded. Last minute weather related refunds will only be given if the National Weather Service has advised against travel anywhere between your home destination and Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast. We understand that not all retreat attendees live in the same area, so a refund may be granted on an individual basis if a weather related advisory effects only an individual or a part of your group. A group will be still be allowed to keep their retreat plans if only a part of their group can attend and will not be charged if the number of attendees do not match the original reservation commitment.
• Final balances (total cost minus deposit) on retreats will be due, by check or cash, within 14 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations made after final payment has been received will be based on weather related conditions (see above) or at the discretion of Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast owners.
• A 2.5% Wasilla City Tax will be added to all reservations.
• Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast reserves the right to request a security deposit of $500. A $500 security deposit, in the form of a check or cash may be required upon arrival. The security deposit of the full $500 will be returned within 7-10 business days if there is no damage or missing items from the lodge. Please report any damage, broken items, or items in need of repair immediately during your stay. Charges for damages and/or missing items following your stay will be at the discretion of Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast owners.
• To prevent an accidental fire, please do not leave the gas fireplaces or the outside fire pit unattended. Fire extinguishers are located on every floor in the lodge. Please familiarize yourself with their location and all exit doors in the house upon your arrival.
• While we love animals, it is our policy that no animals of any kind will be allowed at the lodge except certified service animals. Please leave your animals at home.
• Please designate one individual from your retreat group to be the liaison between your group and Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast. This person will be responsible for all communications and payments between your group and Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast personnel.
• Use of dyes and inks of any kind is prohibited.
• Please use spray adhesives outside. There will be cardboard available so as not to damage the outside concrete or furniture. Please contact your Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast liaison for proper covering materials.

Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please check for all your belongings before you leave. If it has been discovered that an item has been left behind, please contact Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast immediately at 907-357-0352 so we can secure the item and return it back to you as soon as possible. Shipping charges for items left behind will be the responsibility of the property’s owner.

There are no lifeguards on duty at Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast. Swimming, along with the use the outside fire pit at Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast is at your own risk. Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast will not be held liable for any injuries and/or accidental loss of life caused by the use of these amenities.
