Alaska's Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast is one of the very best vacation accommodations in the Mat-Su Valley. We're
located just one hour north of Anchorage in the heart of Wasilla, on the shores of Lake Lucille . We are an excellent
base location for the great activities and attractions listed on this page.
Alaska is very HUGE. Sometimes it's hard to imagine the size of this great country. Traveling here is like traveling no
other place on earth. There are 586,000 square miles here, about one fifth the size of the continental U.S. and twice
the size of Alaska . The roads allow for easy access to most of the great things to see in this great land.
Many major airlines travel in and out of Anchorage -the main transportation air hub. Alaska airlines is the main carrier
for travel within the state and offer frequent, sometimes hourly, trip into and out of the state. Small plane or jet boat
operators are used to reach more remote areas. The Alaska Marine Highway also is used to travel between many of
our coastal communities.
Remember Alaskan time zone is one hour later the Pacific Time.
